Find Out If You Are a Candidate for Lasik

Most patients who have an astigmatism, are nearsighted or farsighted are good candidates for Lasik and laser vision correction. During your consultation, Dr. Fladen, will thoroughly discuss with you whether you are a good candidate for laser vision correction. Some requirements include the following:

• At least 18 years old
• In good health without any other eye diseases such as dry eye syndrome, keratoconus, chronic lid infections or predisposition to inflammatory or infectious diseases of the eye
• One year of stable vision prescriptions
• Not currently pregnant or have been nursing in the past 6 months

How Lasik Works
